Gestalten is an independent publishing house based in Berlin, Germany, founded in 1995 by Robert Klanten, Markus Hollmann-Loges, and Andreas Peyerl. Initially focused on graphic design and the techno scene, the company has since expanded its scope to encompass architecture, visual culture, design, fashion, escapism, food, beverages, travel, and contemporary art.
Gestalten is renowned for its high-quality, visually striking books that often feature innovative design elements and printing techniques. The publisher collaborates with a diverse range of creatives and brands, including Marvel, Monocle, and Dieter Rams, to produce works that explore and anticipate vital movements in contemporary culture. In 2014, Gestalten launched Little Gestalten, a line of children's books, further expanding its literary offerings.
