Hammerpress is a Kansas City-based letterpress and design studio founded in 1994 by Brady Vest, a Kansas City Art Institute graduate. Initially creating posters for local bands, the studio has evolved into a nationally recognized brand known for its distinctive, handcrafted stationery, greeting cards, art prints, and custom design services.

Operating from a 6,100-square-foot space in the Crossroads Arts District, Hammerpress combines traditional letterpress techniques with modern design sensibilities. Their products are sold through their retail shop, online store, and various retailers across the United States. The studio has also collaborated with notable clients such as Boulevard Brewing Co., West 18th Street Fashion Show, and Mildred’s Coffee House. Hammerpress is celebrated for its commitment to quality craftsmanship and its role in the resurgence of letterpress printing in the digital age.
